About Ana Sónar

Ana Sónar (Anastasia Liaskou) is a certified Gong Master and sound healing practitioner with almost a decade of experience facilitating sound baths and immersive sound-based experiences for individuals and groups.

Her work is rooted in long-standing embodied practice and shaped through intensive learning with teachers such as Don Conreaux and Kay Karl. Alongside her recognised gong training, she brings experience in conscious dance facilitation and DJ practice, enriching her sensitivity to rhythm, group dynamics, and the energetic flow of shared spaces.

Since 2025, she has been deepening her professional path through formal studies in music therapy at Zurich University of the Arts. This academic foundation allows her to integrate intuitive sound practice with music-therapeutic perspectives, bridging experiential depth with evidence-informed understanding.

My Approach

I work with sound as a physically and emotionally embodied resource. In my sessions, gongs, singing bowls, voice, and mindful presence come together to create immersive experiential spaces that support grounding, nervous system regulation, and deep inner listening.

For more than ten years, I have designed and held collective sound journeys and listening rituals. I approach sound not as performance, but as a relational and living process — one that unfolds between space, vibration, and human presence.

Through group experiences, 1:1 sessions in my praxis space in Lucerne, and sound-based wellbeing formats for organisations, I create carefully held environments where restoration, integration, and embodied awareness can emerge.
